MEET DR. TREI MCMULLEN
Dr. Trei McMullen has lived a life of service.
From the battlefields of Iraq and Afghanistan to the boardrooms of Florida, he has led with courage, discipline and integrity. A veteran of the U.S Army, paratrooper and former Senior Counterintelligence Agent with 2nd Battalion. 7th Special Forces Group (Airborne), Dr. McMullen has been tested in the toughest environments, protecting lives and defending America’s security.
When his military career was cut short by a service-related illness, his mission didn’t end—it changed. Armed with a Masters degrees in Emergency Management, Homeland Security and a Doctoral in Global Security, he has built a successful security and technology company that has created over 120 jobs across Florida. His team has protected hospitals, FEMA operations, hurricane response efforts, and GOP offices during President Trump’s first election. For Dr. McMullen, leadership isn’t a title—it’s standing beside people when it matters most.
Beyond business, he has given his time and expertise to strengthen the community. He serves on boards fighting human trafficking, expanding recovery services for survivors of violence, and advancing economic opportunities for military families and Florida businesses. His guiding principle—“Never Above You, Never Below You, Always Beside You”—shapes everything he does.
Now, he’s ready to bring that same tested leadership to Tallahassee.
Running to represent Florida House District 2, Dr. McMullen is focused on safer streets, stronger economies, disaster-ready infrastructure, and healthcare grounded in real experience. He knows what it means to lead when the cameras are gone, and the stakes are high—and he’ll never stop fighting for the people of Escambia County and Santa Rosa County.

School Safety First
Parents should never worry about their child’s safety in the classroom. I’ll fight for trauma-informed school security, stronger partnerships between parents and educators, and common-sense measures that keep our children safe while they learn.
Safer Communities
Every family deserves to feel secure at home, at school, and in public spaces. I’ll work to strengthen community-based policing, disrupt human trafficking, and support law enforcement with the resources they need to protect and serve responsibly.
Growing Florida’s Economy
I’ve built jobs across Florida—not just talked about them. In Tallahassee, I’ll fight to lower costs for small businesses, expand opportunities for working families, and make sure our local economy is strong for the next generation.
Disaster-Ready Infrastructure
Florida’s Panhandle knows the cost of hurricanes and natural disasters. I’ll push for resilient infrastructure, faster recovery systems, and smarter investments so our communities can withstand the next storm and bounce back stronger.
Healthcare That Works
As someone who still sits in the infusion chair every few weeks, I know firsthand how broken and frustrating our healthcare system can be. I’ll fight for affordable, accessible care that puts patients—not bureaucracy—at the center.
